What Have I Done?

What Have I Done?

Well, I mostly stayed in bed and nothing else much… #mess

I’d really like to start today’s post by telling you guys that I really hope you had the most peaceful and wonderful holidays, followed by a bright amazing start of this new year… even if it’s a little late for that…
As for me, I’M BACK and I didn’t believe that I’m gonna say it again .. considering that in one of my latest post, I’ve pointed out the fact that I’m done with the breaks. Yeah.. yeah!
We can’t mess with life… has its own plans for each of us that’s for sure and this post really does not have the meaning of an excuse for my late absence from social media, but, I would just like to make my little comeback through few words and a small review of these last months…
As you might know, the last part of 2017 was tough to me, starting with September, the loss of my grandfather and my trip to my country in order to be next to my family and most important next to my grandmother for some time. Time flew fast, I returned to CY to my usual routine with an extra bonus as Keira finally started her primary school.
Then it came my 30th birthday, on 9th of December which brought to me as a gift a pretty strong otitis that made me believe I’ll definitely gonna die for goodness sake. Happy birthday to me!
I had never ever experienced otitis before and of course, as I am a bit dramatic person and most of the time paranoid, I was thinking already about the worst things and disease. Well, one thing’s sure – I do not wish anyone to experience it, it really sucks to have one or both ears clogged, massive headaches, the constant fever and a physical state that makes you wanna throw yourself on a window.
However … it is good that it is not contagious, and I have exempted my family of such pleasure!
Yet in all these time spent with myself in my pain, I realised that I really like to do something else as well, something absolutely new, something which really brings me peace. I’ve started painting and here is what I did so far. I would like to point out that I have never touched a painting brush, canvas or a pallet knife before, but thanks to Youtube painting tutorials and some great artists, I’ve realised that I can really do it as well. What do you guys think?
So .. these were my ”happy” winter holidays and last year managed to put me through some pretty difficult situations, to give me but to take from me as well, so let’s just hope that the new year it’s going to be the best one so far for all of us!

Until next time peeps! Muah!

Wow your paintings are gorgeous! My grandmother passed away last week, and I have been taking some time to be with family as well. Losing a family member is always hard. Wishing you an amazing 2018!
