OOTD: Printed Oversized Shirt & About Visiting A Late-9th Century Stone Church

Every time we leave the house (a thing that happens every day, of course) whether if we go shopping, for a walk, or have some other human things to solve…one thing is sure, I always have the camera in my bag.

That’s because I really wish to improve my photography skills and I really like to capture all about nature and beautiful places that surround me.

There are days when I’m planning a certain outfit and I already know or have in my mind the right place for a quick ″photo shoot″ for my next blog post and there are other days as well, when I just pick up an outfit, go out in the city and without having in plan that day ends with another stack of pictures.
And most of the time, the unplanned ones turn out pretty good and worth to be introduced in a blog post at least in my opinion…

Today’s post was not in the plan and everything we did was to go out, to visit The Church of Saint Lazarus, a late-9th century stone church in the town centre, with an extraordinary and vivid architecture in gothic, baroque and byzantine styles which is the third church built on this site, that was once the location of the ancient necropolis where Lazarus had been buried.
A beautiful church which exhibits beneath the altar, a basement that holds the tomb of the saint which dates to the 1st century, holy relics of St. Lazarus, important religious gold-plated icons and artefacts. I will finish this by highlighting that Saint Lazarus church is one of the most important surviving Byzantine Monuments in the whole of Cyprus.

I’m a faithful person or at least so I think … I’ve been taught to say a prayer every night, I still try to pray every night even though it often happens to fall asleep before I finish everything I have to say.
I confess and share once a year, go from time to time to the church, and I felt better after having lit some candles after I worshipped and simply because I entered this wonderful church.
I’m sorry I did not take pictures inside but it did not seem appropriate … maybe another time, on another occasion, with another purpose.

Now back to and about the #OOTD! If it’s not a t-shirt, it’s a shirt … but for sure with shorts…

I played around blue, silver, a bit of black and added a colour accent with a hot pink lipstick…

I opted for a pair of short jeans, an oversized shirt in a light blue shade with a dragon and a beautiful message printed on the back side and a pair of black strappy studded pointed toe flats. As the rest of accessories, a blue leather bag, a slim black & silver belt just because I needed, a silver watch and rings and of course sunnies!
I felt great and it was such a good unplanned day!

Until next time! Muah!
